Production Information
Currently we are only working on the Fold Project, after a setback we are back on track and should release sometime this summer. As we get closer to the finish I'll
let you know a more specific release date. We still have some shooting to do with part of the cast that is not in the
area so shooting will technically be a one year periond. I am working on editing again and will release a trailer in
spring or early summer.
The other project that I am currently only in the earliest stages of producing is a documentary on Aspergers syndrome.
My brother is affected by this and is in a group with other teens with aspergers. I will possibly start shooting in
fall, but more likely in spring, if at all. I would like to do this project but am under time constraints and am not
sure if I will be able to. If I do produce it I will try to show it to the state congress in an Aspergers awareness
convention.
Last semester I was in a screenwriting class and I now have a fairly well developed story. You can download the
synopsis here, and if you want more information or would like to help with the process, e-mail me at raisen37@hotmail.com .
Our History
This all began when Tom Kain and I ( Adam Lesar) were inspired to make a better movie than "Bond Says No." However, we could never come up with an Idea for a
movie. So I turned to Ben and Andy Bzdok and we began creating what is now called "Fold." We sat down
in some make-shift chairs at Ben's grandma's home as we began to unfold the story of Fold. That night we came up with
the basic premise, but it was still a very rough idea as it would change many times in it's making.
By the end of the month (June 2001) we had a written synopsis of the plot and began working on the writing
of the script. It was then that we enlisted the help of one Michael J. Szafranski who was eager to join "the biz." Mike helped us write parts of the script as well as coming up with new parts of the
story. Later on Mike and I re-wrote some of the scenes.
By July Ben was writing the script by himself in the confines of his job as a security guard...boy were those people
safe!
Ben finished the script by the end of July and we all reviewed it. I went through the script during my
vacation in August and came back to St. Cloud with what I thought would be our final draft.
